Alex Mitchell was sculpted from the rich earthy loam of the American Midwest.
He is an artist, illustrator, and educator currently living and working out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Alex is a BFA graduate from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Minor in Japanese, and taught English Language in Japan before graduating from the MFA program in Visual Studies at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Lifelong interests in myth, mystery, and the construction of narrative are guiding themes of his personal work.
In his career he has collaborated with musicians, playwrights, authors, businesses, game developers, and filmmakers to make interesting and innovative illustration.
